Air-4 Pond Aerating System
The Vertex Air-4 is an efficient, affordable and safe system for circulating up to 16,400 GPM in deep lakes. In a typical lake with 8 foot depths, an Air-4 can aerate up to 5 acres depending on dissolve oxygen demand and other factors. This system will function properly to a depth of 25 feet.

Two 1/3 HP dual piston compressors, housed in our rustproof outdoor cabinet, feeds four bottom mounted CoActive AirStations each utilizing Vertex’s MicronBubble™ technology.

The majority of the aerating bubbles are only 500 to1000 microns in diameter — and as bubble size decreases, oxygen transfer rates increase dramatically. The rising force of millions of bubbles circulate the entire water column, moving bottom water up to the surface allowing vital oxygen to be absorbed. Oxygen levels are increased and kept constant throughout the entire lake preventing drastic O

swings that can lead to fish-kills.

With no electricity in the water, Vertex’s aeration systems are safe for any type of water recreation. Our self-cleaning CoActive AirStationsallow for years of high performance, reliability, and low maintenance.
